Description

Are you an expert at detecting differences between things you observe versus what you expect them to be? Do you love technology and have a passion for constantly learning new things? Are you excited about executing and automating tests for a suite of multiple, varied software solutions?

At gt.school, we’re building a data platform, CoachBot, that helps students learn on their own without the need for a teacher or a tutor. The platform integrates with learning apps that teach various subjects, extracts data about the student’s time and activity, computes advanced analytics on expected student performance, gives the students clear feedback on whether they are meeting expectations or not, and drives behavior by using different motivational techniques (including cash rewards!). The platform is 100% cloud-native and uses patterns such as AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, AppSync, and QuickSight, and it is built as a single-page-app on the latest version of Angular, using modular reusable components, making automated testing very easy.

If you share our obsession with product quality and are excited to take the lead on driving quality in an exciting data-rich product, we encourage you to apply!

What you will be doing

  • Guide our developers in best practices around integration tests
  • Automate regression tests to cover the most important product functionality

What you will NOT be doing

  • Building unit or integration-level tests - these are done by our software engineers
