Director of Marketing - Public K-12 Initiatives   $150,000 USD/year

Description

Ready to revolutionize how U.S. public schools support struggling students? Here's your chance to build and own the go-to-market strategy for an innovative student intervention platform. Shape a new brand from the ground up and drive district-wide adoption of game-changing education technology—no red tape, no hand-holding, just pure impact.

We're a well-funded education technology startup, backed by proven leaders in K-12 innovation. Our AI-powered platform helps struggling students catch up while challenging advanced learners to excel - making it a perfect fit for districts looking to improve student outcomes at all levels. If you're passionate about education equity and ready to build something meaningful, this could be your next big adventure.

If you're excited about building something meaningful in education and ready to own the entire marketing function for a mission-driven startup, we want to hear from you.

  • Create compelling thought leadership content and secure speaking opportunities at major education conferences
  • Leverage AI tools and cutting-edge technology to efficiently produce high-quality marketing materials
  • Build relationships with district administrators and education stakeholders to enhance our reach and impact

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing a large team—this is a hands-on role for someone who loves both strategy and execution
  • Following rigid processes or waiting for bureaucratic approvals—we move fast and adapt quickly
  • Working with outdated systems or tools—we believe in empowering our team with the latest technology and leveraging AI tools
  • Focusing solely on private schools or individual consumers—we're laser-focused on public school districts
  • Getting stuck in endless meetings about planning to plan—we value action and results
