Learning Experience Designer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Imagine a learning model where children complete a full academic day in two highly concentrated hours, freeing their afternoons to launch podcasts, create murals, or master gymnastics. This is the 2-Hour Learning framework behind Alpha Anywhere—and you will be the architect maintaining and advancing this system.

From anywhere with reliable internet access, you'll convert massive volumes of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, actionable interventions that propel each student toward 90% mastery and higher. When learners encounter obstacles, you'll conduct live coaching sessions to eliminate barriers immediately and restore their momentum with renewed clarity. At the same time, you'll analyze detailed student performance streams to identify underlying patterns that reveal untapped potential, then design cutting-edge AI tools capable of accelerating learning rates dramatically.

Parents observe growing confidence, students achieve twice the learning velocity, and you witness the tangible results of each insight you generate, every AI process you streamline, and every question you pose. If turning data into fuel for young learners excites you, continue reading.

What you will be doing

  • Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing methodical analysis to identify problems, detect irregularities, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
  • Delivering fast-turnaround intervention calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching to eliminate obstacles, distinguish conceptual gaps from simple mistakes, and sustain student engagement
  • Assessing and integrating new educational applications and resources while prototyping AI/LLM solutions to advance learning methods and address targeted challenges
  • Collaborating with leadership to refine platforms, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor continues to develop

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending marathon meetings or producing generic presentations disconnected from measurable results
  • Grading assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational curricula—AI and innovation form the backbone of our approach
  • Remaining confined to high-level planning without execution or becoming mired in repetitive tasks—this position demands active, hands-on engagement

Key responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes via AI-powered analysis and immediate academic feedback, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson mastery, answer precision, and diminished negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in data science or a comparable position, education, EdTech, or a student-facing capacity combining analytical and relational skills
  • Competence in Google Sheets data operations (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities, and a supportive coaching approach suited to children
  • Track record creating workflows and automations leveraging AI
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working directly with K-8 students
  • Availability during mandatory core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or documented achievement enhancing outcomes via data-informed methods
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, prompt engineering, and foundational programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interacting with AI APIs
