Instructional Designer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Imagine this: Students complete a full day of academics in two highly concentrated hours, then spend their afternoons launching podcasts, creating murals, or mastering their back-handsprings. This is the 2-Hour Learning model that drives Alpha Anywhere—and you'll be the strategist who sustains it while advancing it toward the future.

Operating from any Wi-Fi-enabled location worldwide, you'll convert extensive AI-generated performance data into precise, timely interventions that guide each learner toward 90% mastery and higher. When a learner encounters an obstacle, you'll engage in a live coaching session, eliminate the barrier on the spot, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you'll analyze detailed streams of student performance information, identifying hidden patterns that unlock children's full capabilities and designing next-generation AI tools that may double learning velocity.

Parents observe rising self-confidence, learners double their pace of progress, and you witness the immediate impact of every insight you generate, every AI process you automate, and every question you pose. Prepared to convert data into rocket fuel for young minds? Continue reading.

What you will be doing

  • Constructing highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic analysis to identify issues, highlight anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
  • Conducting rapid-response "rescue" sessions and facilitating post-assessment coaching calls to eliminate blockers, distinguish knowledge gaps from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
  • Assessing and deploying new educational applications and content while creating AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning strategies and address specific challenges
  • Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor progresses

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending endless meetings or delivering generic slide presentations with no visibility into tangible outcomes
  • Grading assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
  • Working in high-level strategy without execution or remaining confined to routine tasks—this position is hands-on and dynamic

Key responsibilities

Accelerate improved student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic insights, evidenced by enhanced metrics such as 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning patterns throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven ability working in data science or related role, education, EdTech, or a student-support position with both analytical and interpersonal dimensions
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a kid-friendly coaching style
  • Experience building workflows and automations with AI

Nice to have

  • Background in learning science, educational principles, or demonstrated success improving outcomes through data-driven strategies
  • Experience with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs
