Description

Children complete a full day's academic work in two focused hours, then spend their afternoons launching podcasts, painting murals, or mastering back-handsprings. This is the 2-Hour Learning model driving Alpha Anywhere—and you will be the strategist maintaining its performance while advancing it into the future.

From any location with reliable Wi-Fi, you'll convert streams of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, timely interventions that guide each learner toward 90% mastery and higher. When a student encounters an obstacle, you'll conduct a live coaching session, clear the barrier immediately, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you'll analyze detailed student performance data, identifying hidden patterns that reveal children's full capacity, and designing next-generation AI tools that may double learning velocity.

What you will be doing

  • Constructing precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic analysis to identify issues, detect anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
  • Conducting rapid-response intervention calls and post-assessment coaching sessions to eliminate blockers, distinguish knowledge gaps from errors, and sustain student motivation
  • Assessing and integrating new educational applications and content while creating AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning strategies and address specific challenges
  • Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery thresholds as the AI tutor continues to evolve

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending endless meetings or delivering generic slide presentations with no visibility into actual outcomes
  • Grading papers, writing lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
  • Remaining in high-level strategy without execution or becoming confined to routine tasks—this position is hands-on and dynamic

Key responsibilities

Elevate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics such as 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning patterns throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in data science or related role, education, EdTech, or a student-support position with both analytical and interpersonal dimensions
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a kid-friendly coaching style
  • Experience building workflows and automations with AI
  • At least 1 year experience working closely with K-8 students
  • Available to work during required core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • Background in learning science, educational principles, or demonstrated success improving outcomes through data-driven strategies
  • Experience with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs
