Curriculum Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Consider this: Children complete a full day's academic work in two highly focused hours, then spend their afternoons launching podcasts, painting murals, or mastering back-handsprings. This is the 2-Hour Learning model that drives Alpha Anywhere—and you will be the strategist maintaining its performance while pioneering its next evolution.

From any location with reliable internet access, you will convert vast streams of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, timely actions that guide each learner toward 90% mastery and beyond. When a student encounters an obstacle, you will engage in a live coaching session, remove the barrier immediately, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you will analyze detailed student performance data to identify hidden trends that reveal children's full capabilities, while designing next-generation AI systems capable of doubling learning velocity.

Parents observe dramatic increases in self-confidence, students accelerate their learning speed twofold, and you witness the tangible results of every insight you generate, every AI process you streamline, and every question you pose. Prepared to convert data into propulsion for young learners? Continue reading.

What you will be doing

  • Creating highly accurate Academic Data Reports and performing systematic evaluations to identify issues, detect anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
  • Conducting rapid-response intervention calls and post-assessment coaching sessions to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge gaps from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
  • Assessing and integrating new educational applications and content while developing AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address specific obstacles
  • Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending endless meetings or delivering generic presentations with no visibility into actual results
  • Grading papers, creating lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation are the foundation of our work
  • Working exclusively at the strategic level without execution or becoming trapped in repetitive tasks—this position is hands-on and dynamic

Key responsibilities

Advance student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, evidenced by improved metrics such as 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and decreased negative learning behaviors across the Alpha Anywhere network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven experience in data science or comparable role, education, EdTech, or a student-support position combining analytical and interpersonal elements
  • Competence in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
  • Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities and a kid-friendly coaching approach
  • Experience creating workflows and automations using AI
  • At least 1 year experience working directly with K-8 students
  • Availability to work during required core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • Background in learning science, educational theory, or proven success enhancing outcomes through data-driven approaches
  • Experience with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs
