From any location with reliable internet, you'll convert massive streams of AI-generated performance metrics into precise, timely interventions that guide each learner to 90% mastery and higher. When obstacles arise for a student, you'll engage in live coaching sessions, eliminate the roadblock immediately, and restore their momentum with renewed confidence. At the same time, you'll analyze rich student performance data streams, identifying concealed patterns that release children's complete potential and engineering next-generation AI capabilities that may double learning velocity.

What you will be doing
- Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic analysis to identify problems, detect anomalies, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
- Conducting rapid-response "rescue" sessions and leading post-assessment coaching conversations to eliminate blockers, distinguish knowledge gaps from mistakes, and sustain student motivation
- Assessing and deploying new educational applications and content while engineering AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning strategies and address specific obstacles
- Collaborating with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances
What you will NOT be doing
- Attending endless meetings or delivering generic presentation decks with no clear connection to actual results
- Grading papers, creating lesson plans, or administering traditional educational programs—AI and innovation are the foundation of our work
- Working in high-level strategy without execution or becoming trapped in repetitive tasks—this position is hands-on and dynamic
Key responsibilities
Accelerate improved student learning results through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, evidenced by elevated metrics such as 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning patterns throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.
Candidate requirements
- Proven ability working in data science or related role, education, EdTech, or a student-support role with both analytical and interpersonal components
- Proficiency in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
- High emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a kid-friendly coaching style
- Experience building workflows and automations with AI
- At least 1 year experience working closely with K-8 students
- Available to work during required core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.
Nice to have
- Background in learning science, educational principles, or demonstrated success improving outcomes through data-driven strategies
- Experience with Generative AI, prompting techniques, and basic coding skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for querying AI APIs
