Description

At 2 Hour Learning, we are redefining the way students engage with history and geography. Our mission centers on leveraging AI-driven innovation to transform how learners encounter the past and understand the world's diverse cultures and landscapes.

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of social studies content that accelerates comprehension and retention. Your role will focus on applying AI technology to make historical narratives and geographical concepts both accessible and compelling, ensuring students build meaningful connections to the material.

What you will be doing

  • Designing AI-powered interactive simulations that render historical events and geographical phenomena engaging and easy to grasp for learners.
  • Examining learning analytics to identify trends that shape adaptive learning pathways, personalizing each student's educational experience.

  • Converting intricate historical and geographic material into clear, captivating lessons supported by AI-based customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working in isolation—you will join a collaborative team of dedicated professionals focused on advancing educational practice.
  • Relying on traditional textbook approaches—your contributions will modernize the way students interact with history and geography.

Key responsibilities

Achieve quantifiable gains in student comprehension of social studies material, doubling the rate at which learners master core historical and geographic principles using advanced, AI-enhanced instructional strategies.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.
