Description

Imagine making history and geography come alive—transforming ancient civilizations, cultural intersections, and global landscapes into experiences that spark genuine curiosity and comprehension. 2 Hour Learning is redefining education by creating a new pathway for students to engage with the world.

We seek a skilled professional to transform how students master history and geography through advanced AI integration. If you're ready to accelerate learning and turn historical narratives and geographic concepts into compelling adventures, this is your chance to reshape social studies education and deepen students' connection to our collective past and present.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI to build interactive simulations that make geographic phenomena and historical events concrete and unforgettable for learners.
  • Examining learning analytics to identify trends that shape adaptive learning pathways, making each student's experience both personalized and impactful.
  • Creating advanced digital tools that animate global landscapes and historical personalities, from time-travel experiences to deep cultural immersions.
  • Working with a cross-functional team of technologists and educators to develop groundbreaking methods that transform social studies instruction and engagement.
  • Converting intricate geographic and historical ideas into accessible, compelling content powered by AI-enabled customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curricula or getting caught up in administrative tasks—this position centers on innovation and tangible impact.
  • Working alone—you'll be part of a team of dedicated professionals focused on breaking new ground.
  • Relying on traditional textbook approaches—your contributions will redefine student engagement with geography and history.

Key responsibilities

Lead measurable gains in students' command of social studies material, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential geographic and historical knowledge through innovative, AI-powered strategies.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geography, History, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing or teaching social studies curricula, with proven success in enhancing student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as adaptive learning, content creation, or data analysis using the LLM APIs.
  • Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.
