At 2 Hour Learning, we are redefining how students engage with history and geography—transforming foundational subjects into dynamic, curiosity-driven experiences.

We are seeking an accomplished expert to reimagine social studies education through the integration of advanced AI technology. Your mission will be to accelerate student learning and turn historical narratives and geographical systems into compelling, accessible content that resonates deeply with learners.

What you will be doing

  • Designing AI-powered interactive simulations that render historical events and geographical concepts tangible and engaging for students.
  • Interpreting learning data to identify trends and inform adaptive learning pathways tailored to each student's progress and needs.
  • Creating innovative digital tools that animate historical narratives and global environments—ranging from time-based virtual experiences to culturally immersive content.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams of educators and technology specialists to pioneer new methodologies in social studies instruction.
  • Converting intricate historical and geographic material into accessible, compelling lessons powered by AI-driven customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curriculum frameworks or handling routine administrative tasks—this position centers on innovation and measurable impact.
  • Working in isolation—you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to redefining educational standards.
  • Relying on conventional teaching materials—your contributions will fundamentally change how students interact with social studies content.

Key responsibilities

Lead measurable advances in students' comprehension of social studies material, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential historical and geographic knowledge using AI-enabled instructional strategies.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.
