Description

Imagine creating experiences where students don't just read about history or geography—they engage with it in ways that spark curiosity and genuine understanding. 2 Hour Learning is redefining education by building new pathways for students to discover the world's cultures, landscapes, and historical narratives.

We are seeking a skilled professional to transform how foundational history and geography concepts are taught through advanced AI integration. If you can accelerate comprehension and turn the study of ancient civilizations or global terrain into compelling learning adventures, this role offers the chance to reshape social studies education and help students forge meaningful connections to humanity's collective story.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI technology to create interactive simulations that transform historical events and geographical concepts into tangible, memorable learning experiences for students.
  • Examining learning analytics to identify trends that shape adaptive learning pathways, ensuring each student's educational journey remains both engaging and effective.
  • Building innovative digital resources that animate historical personalities and world landscapes through virtual time travel and immersive cultural experiences.
  • Working alongside a cross-functional team of educators and technologists to develop groundbreaking methods that reimagine social studies instruction and engagement.
  • Converting intricate historical and geographic ideas into accessible, captivating content powered by AI-driven customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curricula or getting mired in administrative tasks—this position centers on innovation and tangible impact.
  • Working in isolation—you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of experts focused on advancing the field.
  • Relying on conventional textbook approaches—your contributions will transform student engagement with history and geography.

Key responsibilities

Lead measurable gains in students' comprehension of social studies topics, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential historical and geographic knowledge through pioneering, AI-enhanced teaching methods.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.
