Admissions Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions prioritize volume. This position prioritizes fit.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who value precision, evidence, and discretion. We condense a traditional school day into two intensive hours through mastery-based, AI-enhanced instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. The remaining hours are freed for independence, depth work, and practical skill development. The approach is effective. It succeeds, however, only when matched with the appropriate families.

Your role begins here.

You will lead the complete enrollment process for one campus, spanning initial inquiry to final onboarding. This is not a shared responsibility. You will shape how families perceive us, ensure they fully comprehend the model, and confirm that enrollment choices are grounded in the right motivations. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is alignment.

We welcome candidates from high-touch service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, executive hospitality, premium membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have personally directed high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a nuanced, multi-phase process with discernment, transparency, and consistency.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience quality are brand-defining, this role will be recognizable territory—applied to work that genuinely transforms outcomes.

This is a salaried, full-time, on-campus position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Leading the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, beginning with initial contact and concluding with onboarding.
  • Facilitating assessment-based discussions to evaluate alignment before introducing solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Delivering campus visits, trial experiences, and decision-stage meetings that articulate outcomes, set expectations, and clarify model suitability.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable accurate forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Admitting families who are not aligned in order to meet quotas.
  • Overseeing a large team or navigating multi-tiered approval processes.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple departments.
  • Operating remotely. This role requires campus presence by design.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that converts well-matched families while safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand credibility (education, executive hospitality, high-net-worth support, premium membership, or owner-run service businesses).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process spanning initial inquiry through final onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Capacity to share specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you recommended against your offering when fit was not appropriate.
  • Professional written communication skills with senior leaders, affluent clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of the following locations: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Experience in executive hospitality, VIP services, or senior-level client support.
  • History of developing or improving enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging CRM data and analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
