Admissions Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Dallas-Fort Worth or San Francisco campus. Relocation assistance is provided.

Most admissions professionals are brought on to maintain the status quo. You'll be brought on to challenge it—and build something superior.

2 Hour Learning condenses a traditional school day into two hours through AI-driven, mastery-based learning platforms. No traditional teachers. No classroom lectures. No inefficiency. Our students achieve learning gains at 2.6 times the national average, validated by MAP assessment data. The remainder of their day is dedicated to life skills development, personal enrichment, and substantive projects. This represents more than an alternative approach to education—it's a streamlined, evidence-based model producing top 1% academic results in half the time.

Your role will be to direct the complete admissions cycle for one campus location—either Dallas or San Francisco—with full ownership of your enrollment pipeline. No bureaucratic layers. No task delegation. No unnecessary complexity. You'll convert prospective families into enrolled students through rapid engagement, transparent outcome communication, compelling campus experiences, and selective evaluation. You'll be the decisive factor in why families commit to an educational institution unlike any they've encountered.

If you're driven by efficiency, substance, and the opportunity to represent a demonstrably superior offering rather than aspirational rhetoric, this role is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to all new inquiries within 4 hours using tailored, substantive messaging that avoids generic templated language.
  • Conducting campus tours and information sessions that demonstrate precisely how and why our instructional model accelerates learning, and which families benefit most.
  • Managing the entire admissions process—from application intake through shadow day coordination, enrollment conversations, and family onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in CRM and student information systems, with particular emphasis on HubSpot, to support weekly performance reviews.
  • Continuously improving admissions materials, standard operating procedures, and frequently asked questions based on live parent feedback and conversion metrics.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing other staff members. This is an individual contributor position by intention.
  • Operating within bureaucratic constraints. We execute at startup velocity, not traditional institutional timelines.
  • Enrolling every applicant. This educational model serves specific families well, and your responsibility is identifying the right fit.
  • Downplaying our differentiation. Our measured outcomes carry more weight than conventional practices.
  • Performing this role remotely. This is an in-person campus-based position with occasional attendance at local community events.

Key responsibilities

Lead and refine the admissions process to convert qualified prospective families into enrolled students. Build a high-conversion, highly selective enrollment pipeline that mirrors the precision and performance standards of the 2 Hour Learning educational model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing full-cycle admissions at a selective, tuition-based academic institution
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing competitive enrollment processes from initial inquiry through final enrollment decision
  • Outstanding communication capabilities across written correspondence, public presentation, and individual consultation formats
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with affluent families and sophisticated decision-makers
  • Solid operational discipline, including expertise with CRM systems (particularly HubSpot), effective time management, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Currently residing in or willing to relocate to San Francisco or Dallas
  • U.S. work authorization without requirement for visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Background in prestigious K–12 independent school admissions or selective college admissions
  • Track record organizing and executing high-touch, conversion-focused enrollment events
  • Proficiency with analytics, performance metrics, and evidence-based process optimization
  • Knowledge of AI-enhanced or mastery-based instructional models
