Head of Admissions   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions prioritize volume. This one is designed to uphold standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who demand precision, discretion, and evidence. We condense a complete school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students reliably outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons become available for depth work, independence, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on partnering with the right families.

This is your responsibility.

You will control the entire enrollment experience for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This role does not involve handoffs. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with the right motivations. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful discussions, and advise against enrollment when that is the appropriate course. The objective is not to maximize headcount. The objective is mutual alignment.

We welcome applicants from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership communities, or owner-operators who have directly overseen high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to manage a high-touch, multi-phase process with sound judgment, clarity, and consistent execution.

If your career has centered on delivering white-glove service where trust, discretion, and experience quality define brand reputation, this role will feel intuitive—just directed toward something that genuinely transforms outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of the enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating needs-assessment discussions to evaluate fit before offering solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across varying enrollment stages, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-through.
  • Guiding campus tours, shadow day experiences, and decision-stage conversations that transparently convey outcomes, expectations, and model suitability.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Deploying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Admitting families who lack alignment purely to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing ownership of the family experience across multiple functions.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that secures the right families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand credibility (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium memberships, or owner-operated service businesses).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ simultaneous client, guest, or family relationships across different phases, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization method.
  • Capacity to share specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your own product or service due to poor fit.
  • Professional writing experience directed toward senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support positions.
  • History of developing or improving enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service delivery standards.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
