Dean of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions focus on driving numbers. This position is designed to uphold rigor.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who value precision, confidentiality, and verifiable results. We condense a traditional school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. The remainder of the day is freed for deeper exploration, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model is effective—but only when matched with the appropriate families.

This is your mandate.

You will oversee the complete enrollment pathway for a campus, beginning with initial interest and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role with handoffs. You hold accountability for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made on sound grounds. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The objective is not to maximize headcount. The objective is to ensure mutual alignment.

We welcome candidates from high-caliber service backgrounds outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly stewarded valuable client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, phased process with discernment, transparency, and consistency.

If your career has centered on providing exemplary service in settings where trust, discretion, and client experience define the brand, this role will resonate—except here, the impact is transformational.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of the enrollment process for prospective families, from initial outreach to completed onboarding.
  • Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate alignment before introducing solutions or suggesting pathways forward.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining organized tracking and timely follow-through.
  • Guiding campus visits, student shadowing sessions, and decision-making discussions that transparently convey results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping CRM systems and enrollment databases (HubSpot and SIS) current to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or coercive sales techniques.
  • Accepting families who are poorly suited in order to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing large teams or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple departments.
  • Operating remotely. This role is inherently campus-centered.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a relationship-driven, selective enrollment process that attracts well-matched families while safeguarding the credibility and academic effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing high-caliber, individualized service in contexts where quality directly shapes brand perception (education, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, premium memberships, or independently operated client services).
  • Proven ownership of a full-cycle client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial inquiry to final onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts across varied stages, supported by a structured tracking method.
  • Capacity to share specific instances of consultative judgment, including occasions when you advised against engagement due to poor fit.
  • Professional writing experience addressing senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program recruitment.
  • Experience in upscale hospitality, VIP client services, or executive concierge functions.
  • Track record of developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to refine match quality, not merely transaction velocity.
