Dean of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions professionals are brought in to maintain existing systems. Your role is to dismantle them and build something more effective in their place.

2 Hour Learning condenses a traditional full-day curriculum into two hours through AI-driven, mastery-based applications. There are no teachers, no lectures, and no inefficiency. Students achieve learning rates 2.6 times the national average—a claim validated by MAP assessment data. The remainder of each day is dedicated to life skills, personal development, and substantive projects. This represents more than an alternative approach to education. It is a faster, more deliberate model engineered to produce top 1% academic performance in half the time.

Your responsibility is to oversee the complete admissions cycle for one campus—either Dallas or San Francisco—with direct authority over your enrollment pipeline. There are no intermediaries, no transitions between departments, and no ambiguity. You will convert inquiries into enrollments using rapid communication, transparent outcomes, effective campus visits, and selective judgment. Families will commit because of your ability to clearly articulate what distinguishes this institution from every other.

If you are driven by efficiency, clarity, and the opportunity to represent a superior offering rather than market abstract ideals, this position is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to incoming inquiries within 4 hours using tailored, precise messaging that avoids generic templates.
  • Conducting campus tours and informational events that demonstrate both the mechanics and rationale behind our accelerated pedagogy, and clarify the ideal candidate profile.
  • Managing every stage of the admissions process, from initial application through shadow visits, enrollment decisions, and new family onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in CRM and student information systems, particularly HubSpot, to support weekly performance reviews.
  • Iterating on admissions materials, standard operating procedures, and frequently asked questions based on live parent feedback and conversion metrics.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Supervising staff. This is intentionally structured as an individual contributor position.
  • Dealing with bureaucratic processes. We operate at the velocity of a startup, not a traditional school district.
  • Enrolling every applicant. This model serves a specific audience, and your responsibility includes identifying the right fit.
  • Downplaying our uniqueness. Our results carry more weight than conventional norms.
  • Operating remotely. This role requires on-site presence at the campus, with occasional participation in local outreach events.

Key responsibilities

Take full ownership of the admissions process to convert qualified prospects into enrolled students. Build and sustain a high-conversion, selective pipeline that mirrors the precision and effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning educational framework.

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing complete admissions cycles at a selective, tuition-based academic organization
  • Documented success overseeing competitive enrollment processes from first contact through final commitment
  • Outstanding communication abilities across written, verbal, and interpersonal formats
  • Ease and credibility when engaging with affluent families and sophisticated decision-makers
  • Disciplined operational practices, including expertise in CRM platforms (particularly HubSpot), time organization, and precision
  • Currently based in San Francisco or Dallas, or prepared to relocate to one of these cities
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Background in prestigious K–12 independent schools or selective college admissions offices
  • Track record of executing personalized, high-conversion recruitment events
  • Proficiency with analytics, performance metrics, and evidence-based strategy
  • Knowledge of AI-enhanced or competency-based learning environments
