Enrollment Director   $200,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This role requires in-person presence at one of our campuses in Dallas-Fort Worth, Santa Barbara, or San Francisco. We provide relocation assistance.

Most admissions professionals are brought on board to maintain the status quo. Your mandate will be to dismantle it and build something superior.

2 Hour Learning condenses a traditional full-day curriculum into two hours through AI-driven, mastery-based applications. No classroom teachers. No traditional lectures. No inefficiency. Our students achieve learning gains at 2.6 times the national average, validated by MAP assessment data. The remainder of their day is dedicated to life skills development, personal enrichment, and substantive projects. This represents not merely an alternative approach to education, but a fundamentally more efficient, results-driven model producing top 1% academic performance in significantly less time.

Your role is central to this mission. You will oversee the complete admissions cycle for your assigned campus—Dallas, Santa Barbara, or San Francisco—with direct ownership of your enrollment pipeline. No bureaucratic layers. No process fragmentation. No unnecessary complexity. You will convert prospective families into enrolled students through rapid engagement, transparent outcome presentation, compelling campus experiences, and rigorous selectivity standards. You will be the decisive factor in whether families commit to an educational institution fundamentally unlike any they have encountered.

If you are energized by velocity, substance, and the opportunity to represent a demonstrably superior educational product rather than abstract educational theory, this position is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Delivering responses to incoming inquiries within 4 hours using tailored, substantive communication that avoids templated language.
  • Conducting campus tours and informational events that demonstrate precisely how and why our instructional model accelerates learning, and which families it serves best.
  • Managing the entire admissions process, encompassing applications, shadow visit coordination, enrollment decision conversations, and family onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date CRM and student information system records suitable for weekly performance review, particularly within HubSpot.
  • Continuously improving admissions materials, standard operating procedures, and frequently asked question resources informed by parent feedback and conversion metrics.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Supervising staff. This position is structured as an individual contributor role.
  • Contending with bureaucratic obstacles. Our operational tempo reflects startup agility, not traditional institutional governance.
  • Enrolling every interested party. This educational approach is not universally appropriate, and your responsibility includes identifying ideal-fit families.
  • Defending our differentiation. Our measurable results carry more weight than conventional practice.
  • Operating remotely. This is an on-site campus position with periodic attendance at local community events.

Key responsibilities

Direct and enhance the admissions process to convert well-qualified prospects into enrolled families. Build a high-conversion, appropriately selective enrollment pipeline that mirrors the precision and effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning educational model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years with full-cycle admissions responsibility at a selective, tuition-funded academic institution
  • Documented track record managing competitive enrollment processes from initial inquiry through final commitment
  • Outstanding communication capabilities across written correspondence, formal presentations, and individual consultations
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with affluent families and sophisticated decision-makers
  • Robust organizational discipline, including CRM system expertise (particularly HubSpot), time allocation management, and precision in execution
  • Current residence in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, or Dallas, or readiness to relocate to one of these markets
  • Current authorization to work in the United States independent of employer visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Background in premier K–12 independent school admissions or selective university enrollment
  • Track record designing and executing high-engagement, high-conversion recruitment events
  • Proficiency with analytical reporting, performance metrics, and evidence-based process optimization
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled or mastery-based instructional frameworks
