Description

You've already proven yourself—whether on the field, on stage, or in a competitive professional setting. Now you're prepared to channel that excellence into something meaningful. As a coach with Alpha Anywhere, you'll empower students to achieve the seemingly impossible: genuinely enjoy school, accelerate their learning, and develop into confident, self-sufficient individuals. And you'll accomplish this from any location worldwide.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual advancement of Alpha's innovative school model. We combine AI-driven academics with twice-weekly 1:1 coaching to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, acceleration, and intrinsic motivation. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is high-performance coaching for students ready to learn 2x faster—students who need someone to help them reach that level.

You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students around the world to generate measurable academic progress through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and make the school experience feel like success. Every session you conduct has significance. Every breakthrough you facilitate makes a difference. If you're seeking meaningful impact, this is it.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and dashboards to monitor student progress, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching strategy
  • Recording insights, alerts, and strategic updates to keep each student on a rapid-growth path
  • Working alongside your team to exchange strategies, elevate concerns, and continuously enhance the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing lessons, grading assessments, or assigning homework—our technology manages the academics
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed curriculum
  • Babysitting or micromanaging unengaged students—we coach, not supervise
  • Enduring unnecessary meetings or administrative red tape
  • Operating on autopilot—this team is designed for individuals who want to perform at an elite level and create genuine impact

Key responsibilities

Generate measurable academic growth and engagement for virtual students by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled model.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and capability to build rapport with students rapidly over Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable utilizing dashboards and tech tools to monitor and modify performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
