Youth Engagement Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've already proven yourself—in competition, on stage, or in a professional arena. Now it's time to channel that excellence into something bigger. At Alpha Anywhere, you'll coach students to achieve what most think impossible: genuinely enjoying school, accelerating their learning, and becoming confident, self-driven individuals. And you'll do all of this from wherever you call home.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual transformation of Alpha's innovative school model. We combine AI-driven academics with two weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to deliver what traditional classrooms cannot: individualized mastery, acceleration, and intrinsic motivation. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is elite-level coaching for students ready to learn 2x faster—and who need someone to help them reach that potential.

You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students around the world to produce measurable academic progress through mindset work, not direct instruction. Your job is to set the standard high, cultivate belief, and transform school into a winning experience. Every session you conduct has weight. Every breakthrough you create has impact. If you're searching for meaningful work, this is it.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for live support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and dashboards to monitor student progress, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
  • Recording insights, concerns, and tactical updates to keep each student on a rapid-growth path
  • Working alongside your team to exchange strategies, elevate issues, and continuously refine the coaching model

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching content, evaluating tests, or assigning homework—our platform manages the academic instruction
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed curriculum
  • Babysitting or micromanaging unmotivated students—we coach, we don't hover
  • Enduring unnecessary meetings or administrative red tape
  • Coasting—this team is designed for individuals who want to perform at an elite level and create real impact

Key responsibilities

Produce measurable academic growth and engagement for virtual students by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and capacity to build rapport with students rapidly over Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable navigating dashboards and tech tools to monitor and adapt performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
