Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual progression of Alpha's innovative educational model. We combine AI-driven academic instruction with two 1:1 coaching sessions per week to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: tailored mastery, accelerated learning, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is high-performance coaching for students prepared to learn at twice the speed—and who need guidance to reach that potential.
You'll partner with students in grades 3–8 from around the world to produce measurable academic advancement through mindset development, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate self-belief, and transform school into an experience of achievement. Each session you conduct has significance. What you will be doing
- Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic objective-setting, engagement, and mindset development
- Hosting open "office hours" where students can access real-time guidance, motivation, or problem-solving support
- Leveraging AI tools and progress dashboards to monitor student advancement, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
- Documenting observations, concerns, and strategic adjustments to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
- Partnering with your team to exchange effective practices, elevate critical issues, and continuously enhance the coaching framework
What you will NOT be doing
- Instructing lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academic content
- Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
- Supervising or excessively managing unmotivated students—we coach, not monitor constantly
- Attending excessive meetings or navigating bureaucratic processes
- Operating at minimal effort—this team consists of individuals committed to high performance and meaningful impact
Key responsibilities
Produce measurable academic progress and sustained engagement for virtual students through high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
- Proven high performance in any field—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
- Strong virtual presence and ability to connect with students quickly over Zoom/Google Meet
- Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
- Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones
Nice to have
- Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
- Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
