Description

You've already proven what you're capable of—whether on a court, a stage, or in competitive environments. Now you're positioned to channel that excellence into something lasting. As a coach with Alpha Anywhere, you'll empower students to achieve what many think is impossible: genuinely enjoying school, accelerating their learning, and evolving into confident, self-motivated individuals. All while working remotely from any location.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual progression of Alpha's transformative educational model. We combine AI-driven academics with two 1:1 coaching sessions each week to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: tailored mastery, accelerated progress, and sustained motivation. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is performance coaching for students ready to learn at twice the speed—and who need a guide to help them reach that capability.

You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students around the world to create measurable academic improvement through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and turn school into a winning experience. Each session you conduct has weight. Each insight you unlock matters. If meaningful impact is what you seek, you've found the right opportunity.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and dashboards to monitor student progress, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching strategy
  • Documenting insights, concerns, and tactical updates to keep each student advancing on a rapid-growth path
  • Partnering with your team to exchange strategies, escalate issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching lessons, grading assessments, or assigning homework—technology manages the academics
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a fixed curriculum
  • Babysitting or micromanaging unmotivated students—we coach with intent, not surveillance
  • Enduring unnecessary meetings or administrative overhead
  • Coasting—this team is designed for individuals who want to operate at a high level and generate real results

Key responsibilities

Drive measurable academic progress and sustained engagement for virtual students by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any discipline—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and capability to build rapport with students rapidly via Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable navigating dashboards and technology tools to monitor and optimize performance
  • Availability to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to synchronize with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational disciplines
  • Experience supporting homeschool or alternative education families
