Student Success Coach   $60,000 USD/year

Description

You've already proven yourself—whether in athletics, the arts, or business. Now it's time to channel that excellence into something meaningful. At Alpha Anywhere, you'll coach students to achieve what seems impossible: genuinely enjoying school, accelerating their learning, and developing into confident, autonomous individuals. And you'll do all of this remotely from any location you choose.

Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual advancement of Alpha's transformative educational model. We combine AI-driven academics with two weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: customized mastery, acceleration, and sustained motivation. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is elite coaching for students prepared to learn twice as fast—and who need guidance to reach that performance level.

You'll partner with students in grades 3–8 from around the world to produce measurable academic progress through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate belief, and make education feel like achievement. Every session you conduct has significance. Every breakthrough you facilitate makes a difference. If meaningful impact is what you seek, you've discovered it.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
  • Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate support, encouragement, or problem-solving
  • Leveraging AI tools and dashboards to monitor student progress, pinpoint obstacles, and refine your coaching strategy
  • Recording insights, concerns, and tactical updates to keep each student on an accelerated-growth path
  • Working with your team to exchange strategies, elevate issues, and continuously refine the coaching methodology

What you will NOT be doing

  • Conducting lessons, grading assessments, or distributing homework—our technology manages the academic content
  • Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed curriculum
  • Supervising or overmanaging unmotivated students—we coach, we don't micromanage
  • Enduring pointless meetings or administrative red tape
  • Going through the motions—this team is designed for individuals committed to peak performance and meaningful impact

Key responsibilities

Produce measurable academic advancement and engagement for virtual students through high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
  • Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
  • Strong virtual presence and capacity to build rapport with students rapidly via Zoom/Google Meet
  • Comfortable navigating dashboards and tech tools to monitor and adapt performance
  • Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones

Nice to have

  • Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
  • Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families
