In this role, you will deliver daily motivational programming, coach life competencies through athletic principles, and guide promising student-athletes using the same standards you lived by.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting daily morning sessions that motivate and prepare student-athletes for their day
  • Delivering individualized motivational coaching based on academic and personal development
  • Guiding life skills workshops through storytelling, reflective exercises, and active coaching methods
  • Overseeing afternoon training sessions that cultivate resilience, collaboration, and personal responsibility
  • Monitoring student development and maintaining rigorous expectations for attitude and achievement

Candidate requirements

  • We are looking for former elite-level athletes with credentials at the pinnacle of sport — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Documented experience applying athletic principles to life skills mentorship and coaching
  • Established track record of motivational leadership in athletic, educational, or professional environments
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to or reside in Austin, TX
