Elite Sports Mentor   $150,000 USD/year

Description

  • $150,000/year. Austin, TX (on-site)
  • Full benefits + relocation support

Competing at the elite level—Olympic Games, world championships, or as a D1 First Team All-American—has already taught you what discipline, mental toughness, and excellence demand. Your next challenge is using that foundation to develop the next generation of champions.

Texas Sports Academy treats sport not as an extracurricular, but as the vehicle for teaching life. In this position, you will deliver daily motivational programming, guide life skills development through athletic coaching, and mentor high-ability student-athletes with the same rigor you applied to your own career.

Austin provides year-round outdoor training conditions and a dynamic sports community.

Build champions. Influence futures. Apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Delivering daily morning sessions that set the tone and focus for student-athletes each day
  • Conducting one-on-one motivational coaching tied to academic achievement and personal development
  • Guiding life skills workshops through storytelling, reflective exercises, and interactive techniques
  • Leading afternoon athletic training sessions designed to instill resilience, collaboration, and responsibility
  • Monitoring student development and maintaining rigorous expectations for both mindset and execution

Candidate requirements

  • We are looking for former elite-level athletes with credentials at the highest tier of competition — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Documented experience leveraging sport as a tool to mentor and develop life skills
  • Established track record of motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional environments
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Open to living in or relocating to Austin, TX
