In this hands-on position, you will lead daily motivational programming, instruct life skills through athletic training, and guide high-potential student-athletes with the same rigor you applied to your own career.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting daily morning sessions that inspire and prepare student-athletes for the day's challenges
  • Delivering 1:1 motivational coaching tied to academic achievement and personal development
  • Guiding life skill workshops through storytelling, reflective exercises, and hands-on coaching methods
  • Overseeing afternoon athletic training sessions that cultivate resilience, collaboration, and responsibility
  • Monitoring student development and maintaining rigorous expectations for both mindset and execution

Candidate requirements

  • We're looking for former elite athletes who have competed at the highest levels of sport — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans
  • Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Demonstrated experience applying sport as a vehicle for mentoring and teaching life skills
  • Proven track record of motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Willing to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX
