E-learning Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

If you believe education should be faster, more precise, and grounded in real accountability, this position is designed for you.

At 2 Hour Learning, we condense what conventional schools spread over an entire day into concentrated, results-driven learning cycles. That model only succeeds when academic decisions are accurate, timely, and owned from start to finish. This position exists to deliver exactly that: transform complex student data into actionable insight and combine it with direct, trust-based student coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate at the crossroads of data analysis and personal engagement. At one point you're reviewing performance metrics to identify risk early and support placements with sound reasoning. At another, you're working directly with a student, identifying confusion on the spot and guiding them forward before minor issues escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a passive observation role. You own the results.

This position is built for individuals who want to witness the effect of their decisions immediately. If you excel with ownership, appreciate direct work with students, and find satisfaction in helping children learn twice as quickly through smarter choices, you will belong here.

Apply if you want your contributions to be visible by the end of the week, not the end of the term.

What you will be doing

  • Review student performance data to generate clear, actionable academic reports that drive timely interventions
  • Take full ownership of academic results for a designated student group, including placement decisions, testing strategy, and follow-through actions
  • Deliver fast academic rescue sessions that pinpoint root causes and eliminate learning obstacles in real time
  • Lead post-test coaching meetings to distinguish knowledge gaps from careless errors and prescribe focused next steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent support teams to escalate concerns and refine tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that sit unused
  • Operating exclusively in the background without any student contact
  • Transferring academic accountability to teachers, tutors, or parents
  • Conducting broad tutoring sessions that lack clear diagnostic intent
  • Delaying responses to student challenges by weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide accurate, timely academic insights and direct student interventions that measurably accelerate learning outcomes for assigned student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training role with a documented outcome or feedback
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (occasional tutoring does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analysis and interpersonal work
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly with students and parents
  • Proven use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency gains
