Curriculum Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is for those who believe education should operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses traditional full-day instruction into concentrated, results-driven learning cycles. Success depends on academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and fully owned. This position delivers exactly that: transforming raw student data into actionable steps, combined with direct coaching that rapidly clears obstacles.

You'll operate where analysis meets personal connection. In one instance, you're reviewing performance metrics to identify early warning signs and support placements with rigorous logic. In the next, you're working directly with a student, pinpointing misunderstandings as they arise and ensuring progress before minor gaps escalate into real setbacks. This is an accountability-driven role, not one of passive observation.

The position suits individuals who want to witness the immediate effects of their decisions. If you value ownership, appreciate working closely with students, and find fulfillment in helping children learn at double the pace through better judgment, this environment will suit you.

Apply if you want your contributions to register within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Review and interpret student performance data to generate clear, actionable academic reports that initiate timely interventions
  • Take full accountability for academic outcomes within your assigned student cohort, covering placement decisions, testing protocols, and follow-through actions
  • Lead focused academic intervention sessions designed to uncover root causes and eliminate learning obstacles in real time
  • Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish between conceptual gaps and procedural errors, then prescribe precise next steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and family support teams to flag emerging risks and refine systems or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Producing reports that remain unused
  • Operating exclusively in a back-office capacity with no direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic accountability to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Delivering generalized tutoring without diagnostic intent
  • Delaying responses to student challenges for weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning outcomes for your assigned cohort.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented outcomes or feedback
  • At least 1 year of direct, consistent experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this threshold)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles that blend analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence and the capacity to quickly establish trust with students and parents
  • Documented use of AI to analyze data or streamline workflows with measurable efficiency improvements
