Curriculum Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for individuals who believe that education must operate with greater speed, precision, and direct accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses the traditional full-day school experience into concentrated, results-driven learning sessions. Success in this model depends on academic decisions that are accurate, immediate, and fully owned from start to finish. This position exists to deliver that: converting raw student performance information into decisive action, combined with direct, trust-based coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where data insight meets personal engagement. At one moment, you will review performance metrics to identify early warning signs and support placement decisions with clear, defensible logic. At another, you will work directly with a student, diagnosing confusion as it happens and guiding them forward before minor issues escalate into meaningful setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation. You are responsible for driving outcomes.

This position suits individuals who seek to observe the results of their decisions in real time. If you value ownership, engage confidently with students, and find purpose in enabling children to learn twice as efficiently through better judgment, this environment will suit you well.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to produce visible impact within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Evaluate student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic reports that enable prompt interventions
  • Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, covering placement, assessment decisions, and follow-through
  • Facilitate rapid academic recovery sessions designed to uncover root causes and eliminate learning obstacles immediately
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from avoidable errors and prescribe focused corrective steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent engagement teams to flag emerging risks and refine operational tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused or ignored
  • Operating entirely in the background without direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic accountability to teachers, external tutors, or families
  • Delivering broad-based tutoring without defined diagnostic objectives
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing emerging learner challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic analysis and student-facing interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for your designated student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented results or formal feedback
  • At least 1 year of sustained, hands-on experience working directly with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this requirement)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support functions that integrate analytical work with interpersonal interaction
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in both Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced competency in Google Sheets, including lookup functions, filtering, pivot tables, and visualization tools
  • High emotional intelligence and the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and their families
  • Demonstrated application of AI to interpret data or streamline processes with quantifiable improvements in efficiency
