Curriculum Developer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is for those who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses what conventional schools distribute across a full day into concentrated, results-driven learning cycles. This approach succeeds only when academic decisions are accurate, prompt, and fully owned. This position exists to deliver that: convert raw student data into actionable insight and combine it with direct, trust-based student coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where data analysis meets personal engagement. In one instance, you're reviewing performance metrics to identify risks early and support placements with evidence-based logic. In the next, you're working directly with a student, pinpointing confusion as it happens and guiding them forward before minor struggles escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation. You are responsible for results.

This position suits individuals who want immediate visibility into the impact of their decisions. If you excel with ownership, value direct student engagement, and find purpose in enabling children to learn twice as efficiently through sharper decision-making, this environment will resonate with you.

Apply if you want your contributions to be measurable within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Review student performance metrics to generate clear, action-oriented academic reports that prompt timely support
  • Take full academic accountability for a designated student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessments, and follow-through
  • Facilitate rapid academic intervention sessions that uncover underlying issues and eliminate learning barriers immediately
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish content misunderstandings from procedural errors and define precise next actions
  • Partner with academic leadership and family engagement teams to flag concerns and refine systems or tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Producing analysis that sits unused
  • Operating solely in the background without direct student contact
  • Delegating academic responsibility to instructors, tutors, or families
  • Delivering broad tutoring without diagnostic intent
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing visible student challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic intelligence and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for your assigned student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, teaching, or training capacity with verifiable outcomes or documented feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of sustained, direct experience with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring is insufficient)
  • Background in data science, education, EdTech, or student services that blends analytical and relational capabilities
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced capability in Google Sheets, including use of lookups, filtering, pivot tables, and charting
  • Elevated emotional intelligence with capacity to establish rapport rapidly with students and families
  • Confirmed application of AI to conduct data analysis or streamline processes with quantifiable performance improvements
