Learning Designer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is for those who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning delivers what conventional schools spread over a full day in concentrated, results-driven learning cycles. Success depends on academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and managed from start to finish. Your purpose here is straightforward: transform complex student data into decisive action, then deliver direct, high-trust coaching to students that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will work where analytical rigor meets personal engagement. In one instance, you'll examine performance metrics to identify risks early and defend placement decisions with sound logic. In the next, you'll work directly with a student, diagnosing misunderstandings on the spot and enabling progress before minor struggles escalate into genuine failure. This is an active, outcome-driven position—not one centered on passive observation or reporting.

This position suits individuals who want to witness the effects of their decisions immediately. If you value ownership, prefer direct work with students, and find satisfaction in enabling children to learn twice as efficiently through superior decision-making, this environment will align with your strengths.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to be measurable within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic reports that lead to timely interventions
  • Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessments, and subsequent actions
  • Facilitate rapid academic intervention sessions that pinpoint underlying causes and eliminate learning obstacles in the moment
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from simple errors, then assign precise follow-up steps
  • Work alongside academic leadership and parent support teams to flag risks and refine tools or operational processes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused and do not prompt action
  • Operating exclusively in the background without any direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic responsibility to teachers, tutors, or parents
  • Conducting broad tutoring sessions that lack focused diagnostic objectives
  • Delaying responses to emerging student challenges for weeks at a time

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning outcomes for the student groups under your responsibility.

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented outcomes or feedback
  • A minimum of 1 year of substantial, consistent experience working directly with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this standard)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support positions that integrate analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced capability in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and chart creation
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence with the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
  • Documented use of AI tools to analyze data or automate workflows, resulting in measurable improvements in efficiency
