Director of Family Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Many enrollment positions focus on maximizing volume. This one is designed to uphold standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who require precision, confidentiality, and evidence of results. We condense a traditional school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by verifiable data. The remainder of the day is freed for deeper exploration, self-directed growth, and practical skill development. This approach is effective. But effectiveness depends on enrolling the right families.

That is your responsibility.

You will oversee the complete enrollment process for a campus, starting with the initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role where you pass tasks to others. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with the correct motivations. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure alignment.

We welcome applicants from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, high-end membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly managed valuable client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to manage a personalized, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparency, and consistent execution.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where credibility, discretion, and client experience shape the brand, this position will resonate with you—only here, it contributes to measurable educational outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of the enrollment process for prospective families, from initial outreach through completed onboarding.
  • Facilitating exploratory conversations to evaluate compatibility before offering solutions or proposing further steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements at varying stages of enrollment, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Guiding campus visits, trial experiences, and decision-making discussions that transparently convey results, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment databases (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who do not fit the model simply to reach enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Handing off family experience responsibilities to other staff members.
  • Operating remotely. This position requires on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a premium, selective enrollment process that successfully converts well-matched families while safeguarding the integrity and academic performance standards of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, tailored service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand standing (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated businesses).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact through final onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts concurrently at different stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization system.
  • Capacity to offer specific examples of advisory decision-making, including instances where you recommended against your product or service due to poor fit.
  • Professional-level written communication with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions for selective private schools or enrollment in competitive programs.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level administrative roles.
  • Experience developing or improving enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Familiarity with using data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely volume.
