Enrollment Operations Director   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions prioritize volume. This one is designed to uphold standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who value precision, discretion, and evidence. We condense a complete school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons remain available for deeper exploration, self-directed growth, and practical skill development. The approach is effective. Its success, however, depends on enrolling the right families.

That's your responsibility.

You will oversee the complete enrollment experience for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role with handoffs. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they comprehend the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine fit. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate substantive discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure alignment.

We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership organizations, or owner-operators who have directly managed high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with sound judgment, clarity, and consistent follow-through.

If your career has been built on delivering white-glove service where trust, discretion, and experience quality define the brand, this role will feel intuitive—just directed toward something that genuinely transforms outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, in-person position. We are currently hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-based discussions to evaluate fit prior to offering solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Tracking 20+ concurrent family relationships across various enrollment stages, maintaining clear insight into status and required follow-ups.
  • Conducting campus tours, shadow day experiences, and decision-stage conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who do not align with the model in order to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a large team or working within complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple team members.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-trust, highly selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service quality directly influences brand perception (including education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership services, or owner-operated businesses).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial inquiry through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships at varying stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Ability to share specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your own product or service due to poor fit.
  • Professional written communication experience engaging senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions for selective private schools or enrollment for competitive programs.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP guest relations, or executive-level support functions.
  • Experience developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Ability to leverage data and CRM insights to enhance conversion quality rather than merely speed.
