Director of Family Experience and Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Many enrollment positions focus on throughput. This one is designed to uphold quality.

2 Hour Learning partners with families seeking rigor, confidentiality, and evidence. We consolidate a traditional school day into two intensive hours through mastery-based, AI-supported instruction. Students reliably outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by verifiable results. The remainder of each day is freed for independent exploration, deeper study, and hands-on competency development. The approach is effective. Its success, however, depends entirely on family alignment.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage every phase of campus enrollment, from initial outreach to integration. This position is not structured around delegation. You hold accountability for how families perceive us, the clarity with which they grasp our methodology, and whether their enrollment reflects genuine compatibility. You will evaluate suitability, facilitate informed dialogue, and decline candidates when appropriate. Success is defined not by volume, but by strategic fit.

We welcome applicants with experience in high-touch service settings outside conventional schooling: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, five-star hospitality, executive operations, curated membership platforms, or business owners who have personally overseen premium client lifecycles. What counts is your capacity to orchestrate a sophisticated, staged process with discernment, transparency, and accountability.

If your background involves providing exceptional service in contexts where reputation depends on trust, discretion, and experience quality, this role translates those skills into work with meaningful impact.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring across Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Overseeing the complete enrollment pathway for prospective families, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding.
  • Facilitating discovery conversations to assess compatibility before proposing options or advising on subsequent actions.
  • Coordinating 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying decision stages, with transparent tracking and timely follow-through.
  • Guiding campus visits, observation sessions, and enrollment discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensuring precise CRM documentation and enrollment data integrity (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive enrollment tactics.
  • Accepting families with poor alignment to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing large staff or navigating complex organizational hierarchies.
  • Transferring responsibility for family engagement to fragmented teams.
  • Operating from a remote location. This position requires on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a trust-centered, selective enrollment process that secures aligned families while safeguarding the credibility and academic efficacy of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing personalized, premium-tier service in settings where service excellence directly influences organizational reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or independently operated services).
  • Proven responsibility for a complete client, admissions, or enrollment lifecycle from initial contact through integration.
  • Experience managing 20+ simultaneous client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by a structured tracking methodology.
  • Capacity to share specific instances of consultative decision-making, including occasions where you advised against your own product or service due to misalignment.
  • Professional writing proficiency with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these areas: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in selective independent school admissions or competitive program intake.
  • Professional history in luxury hospitality, VIP concierge services, or executive-level client support.
  • Experience developing or optimizing enrollment workflows, operational standards, or service protocols.
  • Familiarity with leveraging CRM analytics and data insights to enhance conversion alignment rather than simply speed.
