Senior Enrollment Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions prioritize throughput. This one is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational frameworks. Our sites integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and personnel. Students routinely advance faster than national averages, supported by measurable evidence. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, autonomy, and practical competency development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on enrolling the right families.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a segmented function. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions stem from appropriate motivations. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate substantive discussions, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The objective is not maximizing numbers. The objective is achieving alignment.

We welcome applicants from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, premium hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership entities, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen valuable client relationships from beginning to end. What counts is your capacity to execute a personalized, multi-phase process with sound judgment, precision, and accountability.

If your career has centered on providing exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experience quality shape the brand, this position will be recognizable—simply directed toward work that genuinely improves outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in Santa Monica, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Piedmont, Palm Springs, Charlotte, and Raleigh. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment pathway for prospective families, from initial outreach through onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating diagnostic conversations to evaluate compatibility prior to proposing solutions or advising on progression.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking of status and follow-up actions.
  • Guiding campus visits, observation experiences, and decision-point discussions that articulate outcomes, standards, and the intended audience for the model.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment merely to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Supervising a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Transferring responsibility for the family experience across multiple functions.
  • Operating remotely. This role is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-caliber, selective enrollment process that successfully converts aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and effectiveness of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand standing (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium memberships, or owner-managed services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently handling 20+ client, guest, or family relationships across different stages, supported by a structured approach to tracking and prioritization.
  • Capacity to supply specific examples of advisory decision-making, including instances where you recommended against your offering when it was inappropriate.
  • Professional written communication history with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Monica, CA; San Francisco, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; Palm Springs, FL; Charlotte, NC; or Raleigh, NC.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support positions.
  • Experience developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to refine conversion quality, not merely velocity.
