Director of Member Relations   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions prioritize volume. This one is designed to uphold standards.

2 Hour Learning partners with families who require precision, discretion, and evidence. We condense a full school day into two concentrated hours through AI-driven, mastery-based instruction. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons remain open for deeper exploration, independence, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends on enrolling the right families.

That's your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, starting with initial inquiries and continuing through onboarding. This is not a handoff position. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how well they comprehend the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed conversations, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure fit.

We welcome candidates from high-end service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or owner-operators who have directly managed premium client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with discernment, clarity, and consistency.

If your career has centered on white-glove service where trust, confidentiality, and client experience define the brand, this role will feel natural—just applied to work that genuinely transforms outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are hiring in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Orange County, Atlanta, and Palm Beach. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through onboarding completion.
  • Leading needs-based discussions to evaluate alignment before presenting the program or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships at varying stages of the enrollment funnel, with organized tracking and timely follow-up.
  • Facilitating campus visits, shadow day experiences, and decision-making conversations that transparently convey outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who don't align with the model just to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a large staff or navigating multi-tier approval processes.
  • Handing off responsibility for the family experience to other team members.
  • Operating remotely. This position is on-campus by necessity.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-trust, highly selective enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where client experience directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive memberships, or owner-managed services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial inquiry through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, with an organized approach to tracking and prioritization.
  • Ability to share specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you recommended against your own product or service due to misalignment.
  • Professional written communication experience with senior executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Barbara, CA; San Francisco, CA; Orange County, CA; Roswell, GA; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; or Palm Beach, FL.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in selective private school admissions or enrollment for competitive programs.
  • Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
  • Experience developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Comfort leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
