Admissions Manager   $150,000 USD/year

Description

Most families have no idea that a school like this exists. Your role is to ensure the right ones commit with confidence.

Texas Sports Academy operates on a model most institutions avoid: the idea that elite athletic training and rigorous academics can coexist without compromise. Families who discover us are already searching for an alternative. They simply need someone to guide them through the decision with clarity.

That person is you. You lead consultative sales conversations — not passive follow-up campaigns. You identify what's causing hesitation, address it head-on, resolve it, and secure the commitment. You manage a live CRM pipeline of 20+ prospects with defined stages and accurate close probabilities. You evaluate your performance by conversion rate, not activity volume. And when a deal loses momentum, you disqualify it — because a disciplined pipeline is a strategic asset, not a shortcoming.

This is an on-site position based in San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX. If you're already there — or prepared to relocate — submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting 1:1 consultative sales discussions with prospective families through phone, Zoom, and face-to-face meetings — identifying academic, athletic, and family priorities before introducing any solutions
  • Addressing and resolving objections in the moment — around cost, model credibility, and alternative options — rather than deferring them for later
  • Requesting the enrollment commitment and finalizing the close — the interaction concludes with payment, not just intent
  • Managing a live pipeline of 20+ prospects from start to finish — updating stage and close probability in the CRM, executing rapid and tailored follow-ups after each touchpoint, and proactively disqualifying inactive deals instead of allowing them to linger

What you will NOT be doing

  • Handing off the close to a senior admissions leader or school leadership — you control the full conversation from initial inquiry to completed enrollment
  • Relying on a pre-written objection script — every family's concern is unique and you'll assess it in real time
  • Waiting for families to circle back on their own — you control the pace and push toward a definitive decision

Key responsibilities

Generate consistent enrollment growth for Texas Sports Academy by converting qualified prospective families into committed, paid enrollments through rigorous consultative sales practices.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5+ sales or enrollment conversations where you personally owned the final close
  • Experience managing 10+ active prospects simultaneously within a structured pipeline
  • Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferred) to track pipeline stages, document interactions, and monitor close probability
  • Experience responding to a live objection from a prospect regarding price, skepticism, or competing alternatives
  • Located in or willing to relocate to San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX; this is an on-site position
  • Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 private school admissions, tutoring center enrollment, or learning center sales where a parent serves as the key decision-maker and the offering requires detailed explanation
  • Experience selling a non-conventional education model (micro school, competency-based learning, hybrid or accelerated academics) to hesitant or skeptical families
  • Proven pipeline discipline — ability to demonstrate conversion rate gains over a specified timeframe, with supporting data on how deals were managed, prioritized, and closed
