Alpha School is transforming how young children learn. Our approach moves beyond conventional teaching methods to empower Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students as active participants in their own education. You will serve as a learning coach rather than a traditional instructor, helping K-2 students build curiosity and independence.

Our 2-Hour Learning program combines AI-powered adaptive technology with essential human instruction in literacy fundamentals. Students work with advanced educational software while receiving direct, hands-on support in reading and writing from teachers trained in evidence-based methodologies. This dual approach ensures young learners progress academically while developing critical social and emotional skills under your guidance.

Alpha offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and meaningful professional development opportunities in a technology-forward educational setting. If you are committed to advancing early childhood education and skilled at connecting with young learners, this role is designed for you.

What you will be doing

  • Guiding students to establish and work toward personal learning goals, cultivating self-directed learning habits.
  • Delivering focused instruction in social-emotional development and early literacy, working alongside Reading Specialists.
  • Creating a classroom culture that promotes curiosity and perseverance through interactive, experiential learning activities.
  • Adopting AI-driven educational tools to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for technology-integrated futures.
  • Working closely with educators and counselors to support each child's distinct learning path, responding to individual needs and preferences.

What you will NOT be doing

🚫 Depending exclusively on traditional instructional techniques without incorporating innovative technology.

🚫 Applying uniform teaching strategies—at Alpha, we recognize and support each student's unique learning style.

🚫 Prioritizing academic content at the expense of social and emotional growth.
