What you will be doing

  • Designing and continually refining an AI-powered learning ecosystem that significantly outperforms traditional education, evidenced by improved student achievement metrics.
  • Interacting directly with students via virtual platforms to comprehend their learning experiences and challenges, using these insights to enhance the learning ecosystem.
  • Extracting actionable insights from learning platform data to develop impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational strategies.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making to achieve substantial improvements in student growth trajectories.
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to transform academic insights and student feedback into seamless product improvements.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply wrapping traditional education in AI. This role is about reimagining learning from scratch, not replicating classroom instruction digitally.
  • Analyzing data without context. Regular engagement with K-12 students is crucial, valuing their input as key customer feedback.
  • Waiting for consensus to innovate. You'll lead with a bold vision and rally others around data-driven outcomes.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll experiment with novel approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Viewing AI in education as a threat. You'll embrace AI as a revolutionary tool to transform learning.

Key responsibilities

Lead the innovation in AI-driven, teacher-less education to achieve outstanding student results across various campuses. Combine data analytics with regular student interactions to continually enhance our learning ecosystem, as demonstrated by AP exam success and MAP assessment progress.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech.
  • Experience applying AI technologies in educational or professional settings.
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning.
  • Strong grasp of learning science principles and data-driven educational methods.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
