Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This exciting full-time, on-site opportunity is based at our Austin, Texas campus. We offer relocation support for the right candidate.

Join Alpha in our quest to revolutionize education as we seek a dynamic leader to unlock new possibilities for our students. If you're adept at forging high-achieving teams and are passionate about pioneering youth development, this is your moment to make a significant difference.

In this role, you'll be empowered to elevate our innovative learning model. Grounded in learning science and driven by adaptive technology, we're reshaping educational boundaries. Your expertise is essential to bring this vision to life.

As a catalyst, coach, and strategist, you'll guide our frontline facilitators—our Guides—who inspire rather than just instruct. Your leadership will refine how Alpha Guides engage with students, from crafting playbooks and feedback systems to exemplifying outstanding facilitation skills.

Picture harnessing your top-tier coaching skills with a fervent commitment to youth development. Picture leading a team that not only helps our students succeed but also thrive—discovering hidden talents and life skills along the way. If you've broken records, turned failing ventures around, or achieved the 'impossible,' you'll find your place here.

Why Alpha?

  • Competitive compensation—because we believe in fair pay for educational work
  • Comprehensive benefits and ample time off—we value our team with an extensive benefits package and paid leave
  • Culture of growth and learning—we embody the growth and learning we expect from our students, offering coaching, training, and leadership opportunities
  • Relocation support for highly qualified candidates

What you will be doing

  • Developing and training a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with unparalleled excellence
  • Crafting Guide Playbooks that outline best practices for facilitation, designing engaging learning activities, and overcoming challenges
  • Offering regular, actionable feedback to Guides to boost student engagement and success
  • Mentoring a select group of students directly, demonstrating expert coaching and motivation techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans—your Guides will facilitate learning through adaptive apps; your focus is on training them to be exceptional facilitators
  • Compromising standards—our passing grade is 100%, and it's your responsibility to uphold that benchmark
  • Conducting dull training—you'll lead Guides through vibrant, high-energy, hands-on development

Key responsibilities

Guide and nurture a team of Guides to implement the Alpha system with world-class excellence.
