This isn't your run-of-the-mill leadership position. We're searching for a seasoned, senior-level evangelist and visionary capable of propelling significant user adoption and redefining the future of learning on a global platform. You'll harness generative AI to amplify productivity and customer interaction while steering and nurturing our sales team.

This role is distinct in its unwavering focus on our specialized products within the US education sector. Your mission: to drive user adoption in a bustling market, directly influencing how students interact with academic content and how parents engage in their children's education. Your proven expertise in selling EdTech solutions to US school districts and educational departments is vital for your success.

What you will be doing

  • Crafting and executing a strategic sales blueprint aimed at US education providers.
  • Forging and managing strategic alliances with key educational institutions.
  • Driving initiatives to elevate user adoption and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Building and nurturing a personal brand through public speaking, publishing, and thought leadership within the education and AI realms.
  • Leading and evolving the sales organization to reach growth milestones.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Concentrating solely on internal operations and team management.
  • Overseeing traditional school operations or curriculum development.
  • Engaging in monotonous cold calling or high-pressure sales techniques.
  • Assuming a purely advisory role without active participation in sales leadership.

Key responsibilities

Steer the strategic development and execution of initiatives to boost user adoption and sales of AI-enhanced educational products, including LMS, PI, and other solutions, within the US education sector.

Candidate requirements

  • Demonstrated history of driving sales growth and market penetration in the US education sector, including building or selling an EdTech product with a minimum of $10M in revenue.
  • Established connections with decision-makers in US school districts and state education departments.
  • Experience with generative AI tools to achieve measurable productivity or product enhancements.
  • Capacity to grow and engage a social media following.
  • Proven success in leading and cultivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Currently residing in the US and willing to travel for public events.
  • Eligible to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship.
