What you will be doing

  • Architecting and coding interactive full stack web applications that harness advanced AI to enable personalized, accelerated learning
  • Continually experimenting with and integrating the latest generative AI tech to pioneer novel educational experiences
  • Owning end-to-end product lifecycle, from gathering requirements to development, launch and iterative enhancement
  • Partnering with stakeholders to align development with learner needs and garner insights to fuel cycles of innovation
  • Leveraging AI-driven automation across testing, debugging and beyond to maximize development velocity and robustness

What you will NOT be doing

  • Coding narrow AI features in isolation of overarching product goals and learner needs
  • Implementing AI in a superficial, "buzzwordy" way that doesn't drive material learning gains
  • Toiling away at small-scale internal demos; your applications will drive learning impact for thousands
  • Waiting for others to define product requirements or conduct user research; you'll lead the charge
  • Wasting hours on manual QA; you'll leverage AI-powered testing to maximize efficiency

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging, human-centered AI applications that demonstrably accelerate learning outcomes and efficiency for thousands of K-12 students.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years full stack development experience with frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, Django, etc.
  • Extensive experience leveraging large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, Claude or Codex
  • Proven track record successfully managing the full product lifecycle, including research, requirement gathering, design, development, launch, and feedback gathering
  • Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or Claude, integrating these AI solutions into web applications
  • Outstanding communication skills to champion ideas and interact with users
  • Passion for pushing the boundaries of generative AI to revolutionize how the world learns
