What you will be doing
- Take ownership of and enhance our AWS infrastructure, employing best practices and automation
- Craft and implement monitoring solutions that offer genuine insight into complex systems
- Develop tools and automation to bolster reliability and minimize operational strain
- Explore inherited systems during acquisitions, gain deep understanding, and spearhead improvements
- Independently tackle demanding infrastructure challenges, devising innovative solutions when standard methods fall short

Key responsibilities
Champion the reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product range by implementing solid monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
Candidate requirements
- Profound expertise in AWS infrastructure (as our primary platform - other cloud experience alone is insufficient)
- Strong programming skills in Python/JavaScript for crafting automation and tools
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes in production settings
- Proven track record of deploying comprehensive monitoring solutions
- Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration
- Ability to handle on-call duties and rapid troubleshooting as part of the routine workweek
