Inspire a love for learning in K-8 students at Alpha!

Are you passionate about working with young students and sparking their enthusiasm for learning? Alpha is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, working with students in grades K-8. This entry-level position offers an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of young learners.

Alpha School is anything but ordinary. We've created an innovative learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and self-paced growth. You'll have the chance to connect with students on a peer level, inspiring them to discover their full potential and develop a lifelong love for learning.

What you will be doing

  • Live workshops: One-hour sessions with K-8th grade students, coaching them on valuable life skills like public speaking, focus, and giving and receiving feedback
  • Motivation sessions: Encouraging students to advance in their academic apps and achieve their learning goals

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or tutoring. Students learn solely from self-guided, adaptive learning apps.
  • Leading traditional lectures that students find boring or lack interaction.
  • Pushing kids to the point of burnout or disengagement.

Candidate requirements

  • College degree in any subject
  • Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX
  • Desire to spend your day motivating and coaching K-8 students
