Apollo is part of Prequel, a greater group of education brands that help the world's most ambitious kids learn 21st-century life skills by building projects with real-world feedback and impact. We're giving middle school students exposure to global challenges and teaching them to channel their curiosity to build moonshot-level ambitions. Apollo pushes students beyond their comfort zone to recognize their unique potential, explore their curiosities, and contribute to the world in a meaningful way.

As we scale our programs in 2023, we're looking for a marketing pro to grow our reach. You'll own paid ads, marketing operations, and social media in this role. Your goal: generate 500 new applicants in 2023!

We're looking for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats at a time, can switch between different channels seamlessly, and has a wealth of skillsets in their toolbox to leverage for user growth. If you're ready to drive organic growth while building the playbook for marketing as your team grows, this job is for you!

What you will be doing

  • Building and executing a paid ads strategy to generate leads
  • Developing marketing content, including testimonials, email copy, landing pages, websites, and ads
  • Experimenting with growth opportunities across channels
  • Analyzing marketing metrics and using data to drive future decision-making
  • Creating the marketing infrastructure and playbooks that will support long-term growth

Key responsibilities

Generating 500 new applications to Apollo programs this year through organic lead generation.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in at least two of the following: Google Ads, email marketing, Facebook and Instagram ads, SEO, copywriting, and/or content marketing
  • Strong knowledge of marketing analytics and how to impact them (e.g., open rate, conversion rate, CACs, A/B testing, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights from marketing data
  • Strong writing skills

Experience in the education or ed-tech industry
