Campus and Admissions Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This in-person role is located on our Chantilly, VA campus.

At Alpha, you won’t just talk about changing lives through education—you’ll make it happen. This role is the front line of growth and guardianship: the person who convinces families to join our school and ensures that once they do, their children learn in a safe, well-run environment.

Unlike most school-based positions, this job fuses admissions ownership with hands-on campus operations. You’ll be the voice families trust during their decision process, and the steady hand that keeps daily safety and facilities running so teachers can focus on delivering exceptional learning outcomes.

Alpha is a fast-scaling school where ambition meets structure. Families join because they believe in our three commitments—and they stay because every detail of the experience, from the admissions tour to the drop-off line, reinforces trust. If you’re excited by the idea of driving both growth and excellence in a high-impact, mission-driven environment, this is where you’ll thrive.

What you will be doing

  • Guiding personalized campus tours that win families over by showcasing Alpha’s unique commitments.
  • Nurturing prospective families through the admissions funnel with responsive, thoughtful, and persistent communication.
  • Ensuring daily compliance with all safeguarding protocols and proactively addressing potential risks.
  • Managing facilities with a preventative approach, coordinating vendors, and ensuring cost-effective, on-time repairs.
  • Tracking data across admissions and operations to refine approaches and deliver measurable results.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or developing curriculum—your focus is on operational excellence, not academics.
  • Chasing rigid processes or waiting for someone else to take action—this role is about proactive ownership.
  • Delivering generic, scripted tours or cookie-cutter emails.
  • Operating in a silo—collaboration across staff, parents, and vendors is core.

Key responsibilities

Deliver increased student enrollment while maintaining a safe, compliant, and smoothly run campus environment that allows the guides to focus solely on delivering educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Demonstrated experience in admissions, enrollment, or a customer-facing role with families or students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfort with data tracking and analysis.
  • Independent, self-directed worker with strong initiative.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
