Description

If you're the type who gets bored pushing tickets but thrives when you're solving high-impact technical puzzles with real-world outcomes — keep reading. This role is for the engineer who wants more than code or config. It's for the operator who wants to own the success of education technology that changes lives.

At Studient, we don’t just plug AI into outdated systems. We’ve built something different: the Motivention™ platform. It’s a powerful combination of AI and motivation science that delivers real-time, personalized mastery pathways for students. When schools adopt our system, students who were two years behind catch up 4.6x faster. And we back it all with an outcomes-based guarantee: districts only pay when students show measurable growth.

That’s where you come in. As the linchpin between our tech and the school’s IT systems, your job is to make sure every implementation is smooth, reliable, and fast. You’ll diagnose complex issues, translate technical requirements, and work directly with district IT leaders to keep systems running clean. Your work makes it possible for teachers to teach, for students to thrive — and for our platform to deliver results.

Ready to build the backbone of something that actually matters?

What you will be doing

  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues tied to school IT environments, SIS integrations, and platform usage — often in real time.
  • Leading IT onboarding sessions with district stakeholders to ensure system compatibility, data security, and seamless configurations.
  • Designing and maintaining automated workflows across SIS systems, HubSpot, Google Sheets, APIs, and AWS QuickSight.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, support, and implementation teams to drive adoption and reduce time-to-impact.
  • Documenting processes, building scalable templates, and reducing dependency on individual knowledge or ad hoc fixes.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Sitting behind a screen, writing isolated code with zero visibility into impact.
  • Training teachers or managing classroom-level change — this role is focused on systems, not instruction.
  • Fighting through bureaucratic layers to get things done — we value speed, clarity, and autonomy.
  • Reinventing the wheel with one-off integrations — we’ve built playbooks and automation for repeatability.
  • Chasing vague tickets — you’ll have structure, context, and clear priorities.

Key responsibilities

Ensure seamless, scalable MTSS platform implementations that reduce school IT friction, accelerate adoption, and unlock measurable student growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to travel up to 70% to K–12 school districts
  • Experience with SIS, Clever, or similar educational technology systems
  • Understanding of FERPA and data privacy principles
  • Experience using workflow automation and reporting tools
