Admissions Operations Associate   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You will be the first impression for families deciding where their child’s future begins. Every email you send, event you run, and conversation you lead will directly influence whether a family chooses Alpha. This role exists for someone who takes pride in precision, warmth, and follow-through—and who understands that details, done well, create trust.

Alpha is building the most ambitious school model in the world. Our campuses combine rigorous academics, technology-enabled learning, and high expectations for both students and adults. Admissions is where that promise becomes real. Families don’t just need answers; they need clarity, confidence, and a sense that Alpha is different in the ways that matter.

In this role, you own the end-to-end experience for prospective families once they raise their hand. You will respond to inquiries quickly and thoughtfully, coordinate campus visits and shadow days, maintain pristine applicant records, and guide parents through how Alpha works and whether it’s the right fit. You are not processing applications in the background—you are actively shaping decisions.

This is a fast-moving, on-campus role for someone who thrives on juggling priorities without dropping the ball. If you care deeply about doing things right, communicating clearly, and helping families make informed decisions, you’ll find real ownership and impact here. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Responding to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with clarity, warmth, and Alpha-aligned messaging
  • Coordinating admissions events, campus visits, and student shadow days from logistics to follow-up
  • Managing applicant records with complete accuracy across CRM and admissions systems
  • Meeting with families to explain Alpha’s model, answer questions, and document insights
  • Partnering with campus and admissions teammates to keep the pipeline moving smoothly

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making admissions decisions or setting enrollment policy
  • Teaching classes or managing curriculum
  • Chasing families with aggressive sales tactics or scripts
  • Working in a slow, loosely defined process environment

Key responsibilities

Create a seamless, high-conversion admissions experience that turns prospective interest into confident enrollment while leaving families informed, respected, and excited to join Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workflows
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
