Admissions Associate - Miami   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You are the person families remember when they decide where to enroll. From the first inquiry to the final decision, you shape how Alpha feels, sounds, and delivers on its promise. This role is built for someone who believes that speed, accuracy, and care are not tradeoffs—they are the standard.

Alpha is redefining what school can be. Our campuses combine academic rigor, technology-enabled learning, and a clear philosophy that respects both students and families. Admissions is where that philosophy meets reality. Families come to us curious, skeptical, and hopeful. Your job is to replace uncertainty with confidence.

In this role, you manage the admissions experience once interest is expressed. You will respond to family inquiries quickly and professionally, coordinate campus visits and shadow days, maintain spotless applicant records, and lead thoughtful conversations that help parents understand Alpha’s model and decide whether it is right for their child. This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You are outward-facing, detail-driven, and accountable for how families experience Alpha.

This is a fast-paced, on-campus position for someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities without losing precision or warmth. If you take pride in execution, communication, and creating experiences that feel seamless to the people on the other side, this role offers real ownership and impact.

What you will be doing

  • Responding to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours using clear, welcoming, and Alpha-aligned communication
  • Planning and executing admissions events, campus tours, and student shadow days
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date applicant records across admissions systems and CRM tools
  • Meeting with families to explain Alpha’s approach, answer questions, and document feedback
  • Coordinating closely with campus and admissions teams to keep every family moving forward

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final admissions or enrollment decisions
  • Teaching classes or supporting daily instruction
  • Using high-pressure sales tactics or rigid scripts
  • Working in an environment where standards, priorities, or expectations are unclear

Key responsibilities

Deliver a high-trust, high-conversion admissions experience that guides families from first contact to confident enrollment.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
