Alpha is committed to transforming education – and we are seeking a visionary leader to unlock extraordinary opportunities for our students. If you excel at cultivating high-performing teams and possess a genuine commitment to innovative youth development, this opportunity offers a platform for meaningful impact.

This role provides the autonomy and resources to elevate our advanced learning model. Grounded in learning science and supported by adaptive technology, we are expanding the boundaries of educational achievement. Your expertise is essential to realizing this vision.

You will serve as the catalyst, coach, and strategist for our Guides – the frontline learning facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, from creating playbooks and feedback systems to demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques.

Consider the opportunity to merge elite coaching capabilities with a hands-on dedication to youth development. Picture leading a team that ensures students not only succeed but flourish – discovering hidden abilities and essential life skills. If you have exceeded benchmarks, revitalized underperforming initiatives, or accomplished what others deemed unattainable, you will thrive here.

Why Alpha?

  • Competitive compensation - we ensure you are not required to sacrifice earnings to work in education
  • Comprehensive benefits and time off - we prioritize our team through robust benefits and paid leave
  • Culture of growth and development - we embody the learning and growth we expect from our students, providing coaching, training, and leadership advancement opportunities
  • Relocation support available for exceptional candidates

If you understand what it takes to build an elite team, join Alpha and help us transform education!

What you will be doing

  • Developing and coaching a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with exceptional quality
  • Building Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning activities, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that enhances student engagement and outcomes
  • Personally mentoring a small group of students, demonstrating expert coaching and motivational techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans – your Guides support students' learning through adaptive applications; your emphasis is on training them to excel as facilitators
  • Compromising standards – if our success threshold is 100%, maintaining that expectation is your responsibility
  • Conducting uninspiring training – you will coach Guides through dynamic, high-impact, experiential development

Key responsibilities

Develop and coach a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system with exceptional quality.

Candidate requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related field.
  • Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Experience engaging with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental context.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Availability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
