This position is designed for driven professionals who want to apply their energy toward repairing a failing system. You won't spend time grading assignments or adhering to rigid curricula. Instead, you'll facilitate workshops, spark inquiry, and demonstrate that education has no limits when students take ownership of their learning journey.

What you will be doing
- Engaging with K-8 students as a trusted mentor, establishing rapport and cultivating a mindset of limitless possibility
- Leveraging AI-powered adaptive learning platforms to customize educational journeys—students advance at their individual speed while you facilitate discovery
- Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (including public speaking, goal-setting, and collaboration) that equip students for long-term achievement
- Cultivating an environment of curiosity, drive, and development—assisting students in recognizing their talents and passions
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Proven public speaking abilities, with demonstrated capacity to captivate and energize groups
- A genuine interest in connecting with, inspiring, and motivating students in grades K-8
- 3 years of experience coaching or mentoring children
- Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Availability to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; or Fort Worth, TX
- Capacity to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus
