Tired of watching children struggle with reading despite your best efforts in broken educational systems? Join the elite 2-Hour Learning revolution at Alpha School where literacy breakthroughs happen daily.

At Alpha School, we've engineered a precision literacy model that achieves in 2 hours what traditional schools fail to accomplish in 6. Our fusion of AI-adaptive technology with expert instruction is transforming reading outcomes nationwide. Your expertise will design and deliver high-impact workshops that drive measurable phonics, fluency, and comprehension gains for early elementary students—then scale that success across our expanding network.

This role transcends traditional teaching. You'll leverage data-driven instruction, collaborate with cutting-edge technology teams, and build a reading program that transforms thousands of young lives. This is literacy instruction reimagined for maximum impact.

Elite educators only. Apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and deliver precision reading workshops that systematically build phonics, comprehension, and fluency skills using our proprietary adaptive methodology
  • Design personalized motivational frameworks utilizing gamified literacy milestones that maintain high student engagement and accelerate progress
  • Analyze comprehensive student performance data to continuously refine instructional approaches and extract actionable insights for program enhancement
  • Partner with engineering teams to evaluate AI literacy tools, provide expert feedback, and drive technological improvements based on real classroom outcomes
  • Develop scalable, AI-enhanced literacy content that consistently enables early elementary students to achieve and exceed grade-level proficiency benchmarks

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing classroom behavior issues for 6+ hours daily—our focused 2-hour model eliminates most discipline challenges
  • Drowning in administrative paperwork and standardized test preparation that diverts attention from actual reading instruction
  • Implementing rigid, pre-packaged curricula that ignore individual student needs and learning patterns
  • Working in isolation without technological support or data insights to guide instructional decisions
  • Following ineffective traditional literacy approaches that fail to produce measurable reading gains

Key responsibilities

Transform early elementary students into confident, grade-level readers through expert implementation of our revolutionary 2-Hour Learning model, directly contributing to Alpha School's mission of proving that significant literacy breakthroughs can be achieved efficiently at scale.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated success delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
  • Proven ability to assess reading levels, strategically group students, and design differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI/adaptive learning tools and ability to respond effectively to student behaviors within technology-enhanced environments
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Commitment to work on-site at one of our campuses: Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico
