Leadership Coach   $150,000 USD/year

Description

  • On-site in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
  • $150,000 annual compensation, paid weekly. Health benefits begin day one
  • Relocating? Support is provided

The most meaningful support you can give a student who reaches 99% is to insist they can achieve 100%.

At Alpha, this principle is foundational. Students engage with academics through self-directed apps rather than traditional instruction from an adult. This structure allows you to focus on what truly transforms outcomes: facilitating high-impact sessions on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. You'll use live analytics to drive students toward complete goal attainment. You'll mentor the Guides working with you. Your assets are data, a field-tested framework, and the ability to command attention from middle schoolers who might otherwise disengage.

You will be responsible for a student cohort and three measurable outcomes: students enjoy attending school, they progress at double the speed of conventional classrooms, and they develop practical competencies. Coaching other Guides begins immediately. As your results scale, your authority over campus program standards expands.

Atlanta: A culturally vibrant metro area with temperate weather and a cost of living more favorable than coastal cities.
Fort Worth: Zero state income tax, highly rated schools, and a family-oriented city with thriving arts and culinary communities.

Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating one-hour live sessions on essential life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, using Alpha's established framework
  • Conducting motivation-focused sessions guided by Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive structures (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal attainment across students
  • Mentoring Guides on adherence to program standards and enforcement protocols, ensuring each coaching interaction results in actionable next steps
  • Managing your designated student cohort while simultaneously developing Guide capacity
  • Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering lectures or providing academic tutoring. Students engage with content via applications.
  • Creating curriculum or instructional plans. Alpha's framework serves as your operational guide, allowing you to prioritize execution and relationship-building.
  • Accepting 99% when 100% is achievable. Maintaining rigor demonstrates your confidence in their potential.
  • Coaching Guides on pedagogical methods. Since Guides do not instruct, your focus is on cultivating energy, drive, and responsibility.

Key responsibilities

Fulfill Alpha's 3 Promises for every student in your assigned level: students love attending school, they progress academically at twice the rate of traditional classrooms, and they acquire real life skills.
