Alpha is committed to transforming education, and we are seeking a strategic leader to unlock new possibilities for our students. If you excel at developing high-performing teams and share a genuine commitment to innovative youth development, this role offers an opportunity to drive meaningful change.

This position provides the autonomy and resources to elevate our advanced learning model. Grounded in learning science and supported by adaptive technology, we are reshaping educational outcomes. Your expertise is essential to realizing this vision.

You will serve as the catalyst, coach, and strategist for our Guides – the frontline learning facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, from creating operational playbooks and feedback systems to demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques.

Consider the opportunity to merge elite coaching capability with active involvement in youth development. Consider leading a team dedicated to ensuring our students not only succeed but flourish – discovering untapped talents and essential life skills. If you have exceeded benchmarks, revitalized underperforming initiatives, or accomplished what others deemed unattainable, you will thrive here.

Why Alpha?

  • Competitive compensation - we ensure you are not required to accept reduced pay to work in education
  • Comprehensive benefits and time off - we prioritize our team with robust benefits packages and paid leave
  • Growth-oriented culture - we embody the growth and learning we ask our students to pursue, providing coaching, training, and leadership pathways
  • Relocation support available for exceptional candidates

If you understand what is required to build an exceptional team, join Alpha to help transform education.

What you will be doing

  • Developing and training a team of Guides to deliver the Alpha learning system at world-class standards
  • Building Guide Playbooks that document best practices for facilitation, designing engaging learning experiences, and addressing challenges
  • Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that enhances student engagement and outcomes
  • Personally mentoring a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced coaching and motivational techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans – your Guides support students' learning via adaptive applications; your priority is training them to become exceptional facilitators
  • Compromising standards – when our passing grade is 100%, your role is to uphold that expectation
  • Conducting dull training sessions – you will coach Guides through dynamic, high-energy, experiential development

Key responsibilities

Develop and train a team of Guides to deliver the Alpha system at world-class standards.

Candidate requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related area.
  • Proven experience designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with a track record of building, managing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Experience engaging with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
  • Competence in data analysis and applying metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
