Alpha is redefining education through science-backed learning systems and adaptive technology. We are seeking a leader who excels at developing high-performing teams and is committed to advancing innovative youth development.

This position offers both autonomy and organizational support to elevate our learning model. You will lead our Guides—the frontline facilitators who inspire students rather than simply deliver instruction. Your leadership will directly influence how Guides engage with learners, including the creation of operational playbooks, feedback systems, and the demonstration of advanced facilitation techniques.

Your role combines elite coaching expertise with direct involvement in youth development. You will lead the team responsible for ensuring student success—not just academically, but in discovering hidden potential and critical life skills. If you have a history of exceeding benchmarks, transforming underperforming operations, or accomplishing objectives others deemed unattainable, this role is designed for you.

Why Alpha?

  • Competitive compensation - working in education should not require a financial sacrifice
  • Comprehensive benefits and leave - our team receives robust benefits and paid time off
  • Culture of development - we practice the continuous learning we expect from our students, providing coaching, training, and leadership advancement
  • Relocation support for candidates who meet our standards

If you understand what it takes to build exceptional teams, Alpha offers the opportunity to transform how education is delivered.

What you will be doing

  • Developing and training a team of Guides to deliver the Alpha learning system at a world-class standard
  • Designing Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, methods for creating engaging learning experiences, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that drives higher student engagement and outcomes
  • Coaching a small group of students directly, demonstrating expert-level motivation and guidance techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans – Guides facilitate student learning through adaptive technology; your role is to train them to excel as facilitators
  • Compromising standards – when the passing threshold is 100%, you will ensure that expectation is upheld
  • Running dull training sessions – you will develop Guides through dynamic, high-impact, hands-on coaching

Key responsibilities

Develop and train a team of Guides to deliver the Alpha system at a world-class standard.

Candidate requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable field.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capability, including experience building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Background working with youth aged 5-18 in educational or developmental settings.
  • Skilled in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement.
  • Able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
