Performance Coach   $150,000 USD/year

Description

  • Onsite position in Atlanta, GA or Keller (Fort Worth), TX
  • $150,000 annual compensation, paid weekly. Health benefits begin on day one
  • Relocation assistance available if needed

The most caring thing you can do for a student who achieves 99% is to insist it's not yet 100%.

At Alpha, this isn't up for discussion. It's the operating principle every single day. Students master academic content through self-directed applications, not through traditional instruction. This design allows you to focus on what genuinely transforms outcomes: facilitating high-impact sessions on public speaking, concentration, and feedback. Use live analytics to drive students toward complete goal attainment. Develop the Guides working with you. Your resources are performance data, a battle-tested system, and the ability to command attention from middle schoolers who'd rather be anywhere else.

You will be responsible for a student cohort and held accountable for three deliverables: students are engaged and enthusiastic, they progress at double the rate of conventional schools, and they develop authentic life competencies. Guide coaching begins immediately. As you demonstrate scalable impact, your authority over campus-wide quality standards expands.

Atlanta: Culturally vibrant metropolitan area with temperate weather and cost of living well below coastal cities.
Fort Worth: Zero state income tax, highly rated public schools, and a family-oriented city with thriving culinary and arts communities.

Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating one-hour live sessions on essential life competencies (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, using Alpha's established framework
  • Conducting motivation-driven sessions powered by Coachbot analytics and Alpha's reward structures (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to ensure 100% student goal attainment
  • Developing Guides in program adherence and standards maintenance, with each coaching interaction generating specific action steps for improvement
  • Managing your designated student cohort while simultaneously building capability in other Guides
  • Monitoring student engagement metrics, goal achievement rates, and Guide effectiveness indicators

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or providing academic tutoring in subject areas. App-based learning handles academics.
  • Creating curriculum or instructional plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
  • Accepting 99% when the standard is 100%. Maintaining expectations demonstrates your confidence in their capability.
  • Training Guides in instructional methods. Since Guides don't deliver academic instruction, your coaching centers on energy, drive, and ownership.

Key responsibilities

Execute Alpha's 3 Promises for every student in your assigned level: students are passionate about school, they advance academically at twice the speed of traditional classrooms, and they cultivate genuine life skills.
