Performance Coach   $150,000 USD/year

Description

  • On-site position in Atlanta, GA or Spotswood, NJ
  • $150,000 annual salary with weekly pay. Health benefits begin on day one

Alpha is committed to transforming education – and we need a visionary leader to unlock new possibilities for our students. If you excel at developing high-performing teams and are deeply passionate about innovative approaches to youth development, this opportunity will allow you to drive transformative change.

This role offers the autonomy and resources to elevate our cutting-edge learning methodology. Grounded in learning science and driven by adaptive technology, we are reshaping the landscape of what education can achieve. Your expertise is essential to making this vision a reality.

You will serve as the catalyst, coach, and strategist for our Guides – the frontline learning facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, from creating operational playbooks and feedback systems to demonstrating exceptional facilitation techniques.

Picture merging your elite coaching skills with a hands-on commitment to youth development. Picture guiding a team that ensures students not only succeed but flourish – discovering hidden strengths and essential life skills. If you've broken records, revitalized struggling initiatives, or accomplished what others deemed "impossible," you belong here.

Why Alpha?

  • Competitive compensation - we believe education professionals deserve top-tier pay
  • Comprehensive benefits and time off - we prioritize our team's well-being with extensive benefits and paid leave
  • Culture of growth and learning - we embody the same growth mindset we cultivate in our students, providing coaching, training, and leadership pathways
  • Relocation support available for exceptional candidates

If you understand what it takes to build an outstanding team, join Alpha and help us transform the future of education!

What you will be doing

  • Developing and training a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with world-class excellence
  • Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, designing engaging learning activities, and addressing challenges
  • Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that drives student engagement and achievement
  • Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating expert motivation and coaching techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans – your Guides support student learning through adaptive applications; your role centers on training them to be outstanding facilitators
  • Compromising standards – when our passing grade is 100%, you are responsible for upholding that expectation
  • Conducting dull training sessions – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, high-energy, experiential learning

Key responsibilities

Develop and train a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system with world-class excellence.

Candidate requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related field.
  • Proven track record developing and implementing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with the ability to build, manage, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Direct experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental capacity.
  • Strong competency in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Availability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
