What you will be doing
- Implementing focused, high-impact reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency
- Creating individualized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
- Evaluating student performance data to optimize teaching methods and generate actionable recommendations
- Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-integrated curriculum that helps early elementary learners reach grade-level reading proficiency
What you will NOT be doing
- Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—students master academic content through AI-adaptive applications
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master's degree in reading instruction
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
- Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without relying on pre-packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Able to work on-site at one of our campuses: Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico
