Alpha is working to reinvent education—and we need a visionary leader to unlock new possibilities for our students. If you excel at developing high-performing teams and are deeply committed to innovative youth development, this role offers you the opportunity to drive transformative change.

This position provides both the autonomy and resources to elevate our advanced learning model. Grounded in learning science and driven by adaptive technology, we are reshaping educational outcomes. Your expertise is critical to realizing this vision.

You will serve as the catalyst, coach, and strategist for our Guides—the frontline learning facilitators who inspire rather than simply instruct. Your leadership will define how Alpha Guides engage with students, encompassing everything from playbook development and feedback systems to demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques.

Consider the potential: merging elite coaching capabilities with a hands-on dedication to youth development. Leading a team committed to ensuring our students not only achieve but flourish—discovering latent talents and essential life skills. If you have broken records, revitalized underperforming initiatives, or accomplished the "impossible," you belong here.

Why Alpha?

  • Competitive compensation - we ensure you don't sacrifice earnings to work in education
  • Comprehensive benefits and time off - we prioritize our team with robust benefits and paid leave
  • Culture of growth and learning - we practice the growth & learning we ask of our students, providing coaching, training, and leadership pathways
  • Relocation support for highly qualified candidates

If you understand how to assemble a rockstar team, join Alpha and help us transform education!

What you will be doing

  • Developing and training a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with exceptional quality
  • Building Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning activities, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, actionable feedback to Guides that increases student engagement and success
  • Personally mentoring a small group of students to demonstrate expert coaching and motivational techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans – your Guides support students' learning via adaptive applications; you concentrate on training them to excel as facilitators
  • Compromising standards – when our passing grade is 100%, you are responsible for upholding that expectation
  • Running dull training sessions – you will coach Guides through dynamic, high-energy, experiential development

Key responsibilities

Develop and train a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system with exceptional quality.

Candidate requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related field.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with the ability to build, manage, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental capacity.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; Nashville, TN; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Spotswood, NJ.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
