What you will be doing
- Facilitating Workshops: Create and deliver workshop experiences that inspire students to discover new capabilities. From entrepreneurship to public speaking, you'll impart practical skills that motivate.
- Conducting daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by guiding students to establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset needed to achieve them.
- Fostering student achievement: Apply proven methodologies to ensure each student reaches demanding academic and personal objectives.
- Developing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to establish rewards and incentive structures that encourage independent excellence.
What you will NOT be doing
- Conventional instruction: Set aside chalkboards and traditional lectures. At Alpha, students leverage advanced applications to master core content—your function is to mentor, motivate, and enhance their educational experience.
- Administering discipline: Our approach rejects punitive measures. Instead, you'll employ reasoning and positive reinforcement to foster a respectful, stimulating atmosphere.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
- High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
- A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
- Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
