What you will be doing
- Leading Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that inspire students to discover new capabilities. From public speaking to entrepreneurship, you'll deliver practical skills that motivate action.
- Facilitating daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish meaningful goals and develop the mindset to achieve them.
- Driving student achievement: Apply proven frameworks to ensure every student reaches ambitious academic and personal milestones.
- Developing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to create rewards and incentives that foster intrinsic excellence.
What you will NOT be doing
- Conventional instruction: Set aside chalkboards and lectures. At Alpha, students utilize advanced applications to master core content—your responsibility is to mentor, motivate, and enhance their educational experience.
- Implementing punishment: We reject punitive approaches. Instead, you'll employ reasoning and positive reinforcement to build a respectful, dynamic learning environment.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation support is provided.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience applying a growth mindset to achieve high performance.
- High energy level and commitment to uplifting others.
- Desire to connect with, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
- Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
