What you will be doing
- Designing and Leading Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that prompt students to think, "I never knew I was capable of this!" Cover actionable skills from public speaking to entrepreneurship that truly inspire.
- Facilitating Daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset to achieve them.
- Driving Student Achievement: Apply proven methodologies to ensure every student reaches rigorous academic and personal targets.
- Developing Personalized Motivational Approaches: Collaborate with students to create reward systems and incentives that fuel self-motivated excellence.
What you will NOT be doing
- Conventional instruction: Set aside chalkboards and lectures. Alpha students master core subjects through advanced applications—your function is to guide, motivate, and enhance their educational experience.
- Implementing discipline: We reject punitive approaches. You'll apply reasoning and positive reinforcement to build a respectful, dynamic learning environment.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
- High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
- A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
- Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
