They progress through AI-powered learning platforms at an individualized pace. AI manages academic instruction. Your responsibility is facilitating life skills workshops that command the attention of K-8 students, conducting motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintaining standards when students attempt to disengage. Academic progression is automated. You manage the human dimension.
This position offers meaningful upward trajectory, and that trajectory is defined by deeper student outcomes. Guides who consistently deliver results (100% cohort achievement of weekly app targets, satisfaction ratings above 90%) advance into Lead Guide positions where they train other educators to execute this model effectively. Students remain the priority.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students on topics including public speaking, concentration techniques, and constructive feedback exchange
- Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify students have internalized skills rather than passively attended
- Conducting daily motivation sessions informed by student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot analytics to ensure 100% of your cohort achieves weekly app progression goals
- Employing storytelling techniques, incentive structures (school currency, leaderboard competition), and individualized relationship-building to overcome student resistance
- Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics with a target of 90%+ on student feedback surveys
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering traditional lectures from the front of a classroom. Academic progression occurs through self-directed AI-powered applications, not through direct instruction from you.
- Supervising students passively. The environment involves students working on computers; the role demands active engagement.
- Compromising standards in response to student pushback. Test2Pass criteria remain consistent regardless of individual student circumstances.
- Developing original curriculum materials. Workshop frameworks and lesson plans are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with the presence and narrative skill that ensures genuine student comprehension.
- Handling parent communication, admissions processes, or campus administration. Those functions belong to separate roles.

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
- Strong storytelling ability and facilitation presence — capable of maintaining engagement with a room of children for one hour
- Availability to work on-site at Alpha's Brownsville, TX campus
- Authorization to work legally in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience as a sports coach, camp counselor, or youth program leader
- Demonstrated history of high achievement in competitive settings (academic, athletic, or professional)
- Familiarity with self-directed or app-based learning models
