What you will be doing

  • Facilitating Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that make students think, "I didn't realize I was capable of this!" You'll teach practical skills—from public speaking to entrepreneurship—that truly inspire.
  • Conducting daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset to achieve them.
  • Driving student achievement: Apply proven frameworks to ensure each student reaches challenging academic and personal milestones.
  • Designing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to create reward systems and incentives that fuel self-directed excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Conventional teaching: No chalkboards or lectures here. At Alpha, students master core subjects through advanced applications—you'll guide, motivate, and enhance their educational experience.
  • Enforcing discipline: We reject punishment-based approaches. You'll rely on reasoning and positive reinforcement to build a respectful, engaging atmosphere.

Candidate requirements

  • Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
  • Bachelor's degree in any subject.
  • Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
  • High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
  • A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
  • Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
